Very cool guys with a strong interest in research and how we are using their printer. They were also nice enough to provide us with a pretty white upgrade! Kegan is a M.S. student who completed his B.S. in Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech. He has hit the ground running with his work to program and successfully 3D print hydrogels embedded with RAW 264.7 cells.&nbsp;Suraj Kandalam is a new M.S. student from here at Virginia Commonwealth University. His previous research experience was focused on product development in Biomedical Engineering and is excited to switch his focus to animal studies and wet lab experiments. She did an amazing job in her project focused on the "Effects of Antidepressants on Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell Differentiation on Clinically Relevant Titanium Surfaces." All of her hard work paid off and she now works up in Maryland at Leidos, while still working to finish the final edits of her 2 publications from work she did here at VCU.
